You’ll work on a variety of print and digital projects including menus, welcome materials, signage, event collateral, sales materials, and digital displays. All work follows established brand guidelines and is finished to a premium standard.
This is an ongoing freelance engagement of approximately 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust based on seasonal needs.
What You’ll Work On
Guest-facing materials: Welcome cards and letters, directories, amenity and instructional signage, activity guides, QR-linked materials
Food and beverage: Restaurant and poolside menus, specials cards, event and catering menus, digital menu boards
Event and seasonal materials: Invitations, programs, posters, table tents, and on-property signage for activations, holiday programming, and private events
Sales collateral: Property one-pagers, rate sheets, meeting and celebration materials, presentation decks
Digital assets: On-property digital signage, web graphics and banners, digital versions of guest-facing materials
Copywriting and editing: Headlines, body copy, and calls to action across all materials; editing and proofing existing copy
Production management: Print-ready file preparation, vendor coordination, and asset organization
Skills/Background Needed
Design experience: Minimum three years working professionally in design, with a portfolio showing strong print and digital work
Software proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite or UI design tools; working knowledge of Canva for templated assets
Copywriting ability: Demonstrated experience writing publishable copy including menu descriptions, headlines, and guest communications
Print production knowledge: Understanding of bleeds, color management, resolution, paper stocks, finishing, and vendor specifications
Digital design: Competence designing to digital specifications including screen dimensions, resolution, and web-ready file formats
Brand work: Ability to work within established brand guidelines and extend them credibly into new formats
Hospitality background: Preferred experience in luxury hospitality, resorts, hotels, fine dining, or family/group-oriented properties
Typographic sensibility: Comfort with editorial layout and refined design choices
Availability: Able to work during U.S. Eastern business hours for review cycles and time-sensitive requests
What We’re Looking For
Refined creative judgment and exacting attention to detail — typography, spacing, alignment, and copy accuracy matter to you. You’re organized and self-directed, managing your own deadlines and requiring minimal oversight. You communicate proactively, take feedback gracefully, and see projects through to completion. You can offer thoughtful alternatives when you see a stronger solution, and you maintain consistency across work that ranges from playful to formal.
