About the Role
We are seeking a motivated volunteer to help strengthen fundraising and grant-seeking efforts for a nonprofit organization. You’ll work with our leadership team to identify grant opportunities and assist with developing compelling, mission-aligned proposals.
What You’ll Do
• Research foundations, corporations, government programs, and other potential funding sources
• Identify grants that align with our organization’s mission and programmes
• Maintain an organized list of grant opportunities, eligibility requirements, and deadlines
• Help draft and review letters of inquiry, proposals, and grant applications
• Gather information and supporting materials needed for applications
• Support follow-up communication and funder research as needed
Skills/Background Needed
No prior grant-writing experience required. We welcome volunteers with interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, research, communications, education, public health, international development, or related fields. Strong research and written communication skills are important. Full training provided.
