Position Title: Grant Writer
About the Role:
This is an in-person position with the option to work remotely one day per week. You will contribute to fundraising efforts by writing grant proposals, managing donor relationships, and identifying new funding opportunities. Your strong writing skills and attention to detail will help secure grants and build lasting partnerships with funders. You will also support special events and donor engagement activities, which may include some evening and weekend hours to align with programme schedules and networking events.
What You’ll Do:
• Write and submit grant proposals to meet funding goals and compliance requirements
• Research and identify new funding opportunities from institutions and corporate sponsors
• Create tailored sponsorship presentations and proposals
• Manage relationships with current and prospective funders through outreach and stewardship activities
• Track all interactions and donor information in a database system
• Manage annual grant calendars and reporting
• Administer community partnership programmes and coordinate in-kind contributions
• Support event planning and donor engagement initiatives
• Produce and distribute impact reports
• Assist with administrative and logistics support as needed

• Enthusiasm for fundraising and philanthropy
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Able to sit and move about for extended periods
Experience:
Grant proposal writing and fundraising experience is preferred but not required. We welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in development, fundraising, or non-profit work. Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in development, fundraising, or a related field.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent position.
