Healthcare Coordinator – Entry Level, Full Time

Overview

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and organized Healthcare Coordinator to join our team. This is a hybrid role that combines patient care support with marketing and community outreach—approximately 50% patient-facing coordination and 50% marketing/community engagement.

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
• Schedule new and returning patients by phone, email, and in person
• Collect payments and explain billing policies clearly
• Ensure patient paperwork and records are complete and accurate
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare privacy regulations
• Assist with general clinic organization, supplies, and non-clinical support tasks
• Learn about the services provided and become knowledgeable about the practice

Marketing & Community Outreach Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners
• Manage referral outreach and follow-up communications
• Write and send relationship-building correspondence
• Create and organize marketing materials and promotional items
• Coordinate material distribution to local community partners
• Assist with workshops, events, and community outreach efforts
• Help draft social media posts based on a content calendar
• Identify new community engagement opportunities
• Represent the practice professionally in the community

Skills/background needed

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Warm, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay calm in a busy environment
• Comfort speaking on the phone and interacting with diverse patients and professionals
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
• Professional demeanor and genuine interest in connecting with people
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and provide coverage as needed
• Prior experience in healthcare, administrative, customer service, or marketing roles is a plus, but not required
