We are seeking an Investigative Journalist to join our newsroom. In this role, you’ll research and report on stories that matter to your community, producing 2-3 pieces per week. You’ll work closely with the editorial team to develop story ideas, build source relationships, and deliver compelling multimedia content.
Your responsibilities will include:
Researching and reporting on investigative stories
Shooting and editing video content
Developing and pitching story ideas
Building and maintaining source relationships
Conducting interviews and gathering information
Other duties as assigned
Skills/background needed:
Strong news judgment and storytelling ability
Proficiency with video production and editing tools
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driving license and clean driving record (required for this role)
2-3 years of reporting experience preferred
Experience with live broadcast reporting is a plus
