Junior Content Writer – Client Account Remote

About the role

This is a fully remote, part-time position that can grow into full-time work as you take on more client relationships. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients, managing their accounts and helping them understand the performance of their marketing efforts.

What you’ll do

You’ll own client relationships from start to finish. This means regular email and chat communication, plus monthly calls to review their performance data and explain what it means for their business in plain language.

When clients send through feedback or requests, you’ll translate their needs into clear briefs for the production team. This translation work is a core part of the role, and it’s about taking the ambiguity out of communication and handing over something actionable.

You’ll also stay alert to any issues before clients have to flag them. Spotting risk early and addressing it proactively is what keeps accounts strong.

The tools do the repetitive work. You’ll use templates, playbooks, and AI assistance to handle routine tasks quickly, so your time stays focused on the judgement calls that matter—reviewing client communication and making sure nothing goes out without your sign-off.

What you won’t be doing

You won’t be building campaigns, managing ad spend, writing code, or creating monthly reports and slide decks. No technical builds, no media buying, no design work. The production team owns all of that. You also won’t need a specific degree or certification—we’re looking at your experience and how you work, not your credentials.

Skills/background needed

You’ll need at least three years of experience managing client relationships in an agency setting, where you were the main contact the client called. Beyond that, we’re looking for:

• Ability to read marketing data (Google Ads, Meta Ads, analytics dashboards) and explain it clearly to non-technical business owners
• Comfort with team chat, project management tools, and Google Workspace
• A track record of keeping clients happy and spotting problems before they escalate
• Confidence opening a conversation about unexpected results, explaining why they happened, and saying what comes next

Nice to have

Experience working with service-based businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or similar). Familiarity with industry-specific software. Daily experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude. Interest in how AI impacts business visibility and customer discovery. Any of these is a bonus but not required.

How the role works

You’ll start with around six client accounts, which typically takes about 15 hours per week. You’re paid per client relationship, not by the hour. This means if you get faster and more efficient with the tools, you earn more without us asking for extra hours—that’s by design.

In your first 90 days, we’ll track time by account so we both understand the real workload. If it’s heavier than expected, we’ll adjust. If it’s lighter because you’re efficient, you keep the benefit and we add more accounts.

When you take time off, your accounts are covered internally so nothing gets dropped. This is why we keep detailed, current client files—so handovers are smooth.

What’s included

Full training on all tools and processes in your first weeks, plus ongoing mentorship. You’ll have hands-on support early, then increasing independence as you prove yourself. The team is small and lean, so you’ll work closely with leadership and have real ownership from day one.

Professional development support to help you grow in the role and beyond.
