About this role
We’re looking for a Junior Copywriter to join our marketing team. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to develop compelling messaging across print, digital, and social media channels. This role offers the opportunity to grow your copywriting skills while creating content that engages audiences and supports business objectives.
What you’ll do
Content Development
• Write and refine long-form and short-form content for various channels including websites, social media, email, digital advertising, and print materials
• Brainstorm creative concepts, headlines, taglines, and calls to action
• Develop content that simplifies complex or technical information into clear, engaging messaging
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and brand teams to ensure messaging aligns with strategy
• Manage multiple writing projects from initial concept through final delivery, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Multi-Channel Content
• Adapt messaging across different formats and channels to suit audience needs
• Write content for integrated marketing campaigns spanning multiple touchpoints
• Ensure brand voice and tone remain consistent across all communications
• Write compelling copy for product launches, campaigns, and brand storytelling
Content Quality & Strategy
• Proofread, edit, and refine content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and accuracy
• Conduct research to ensure content credibility and accuracy
• Apply style guidelines and brand voice consistently
• Monitor content performance and engagement metrics
• Use modern writing tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and quality
• Present creative approaches and explain how each concept supports audience and business goals
What we’re looking for
Skills/background needed:
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to write in multiple tones and styles for different audiences
• Familiarity with marketing, advertising, and content strategy principles
• Understanding of SEO and digital content best practices
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts clearly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
• Experience with or willingness to learn AI-assisted writing tools
• Openness to feedback and ability to apply constructive criticism professionally
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred; combination of education and experience considered
Work Environment
This is an in-person position in a professional office environment. You’ll work standard office hours Monday through Friday, using computers, keyboards, and standard office equipment. The role is primarily sedentary but may occasionally involve light lifting of materials and supplies.
Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Contract length: Full Time, Permanent
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
