This is an excellent opportunity to develop your grant writing skills while working flexibly from home. We provide full training and support, so prior grant writing experience is not required – we’re looking for someone with strong writing ability, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for the nonprofit sector.
Role: Part-Time Grant Writer (Remote)
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, fully remote
Location: Work from home, open to applicants worldwide
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporate sources aligned with organizational priorities. Write clear, compelling grant proposals and prepare all required application materials, meeting deadlines consistently. Maintain an organized grant calendar tracking deadlines, submissions, and outcomes to ensure nothing is missed. Collaborate with program staff to gather data, outcomes, and impact stories that make proposals compelling and fundable. Prepare grant reports according to funder requirements and maintain accurate documentation of all grant-related activities.
Skills/Background Needed:
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Ability to work independently and stay accountable in a remote, part-time structure. Experience gathering content and collaborating with team members is helpful. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Enthusiasm for nonprofit work and community impact. No prior grant writing experience required – full training provided.
