About the Role:
We’re looking for a Learning Writer to join our growing team. As a Learning Writer, you will be responsible for documenting procedures and creating training materials to help educate team members. You’ll work alongside other writers, training specialists, and operations team members to learn best practices across departments and clearly document them for new hires and internal teams.
What You’ll Do:
• Document and help standardize processes, creating training materials such as process manuals, standard operating procedures, work instructions, presentation decks, and video modules
• Research and help install new training materials and tools that will enhance training procedures and provide value to team members
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to ensure processes are captured correctly, receiving and providing feedback
• Maintain training resource sites, departmental shared drives, and project management boards, keeping them up to date
• Identify gaps in training material or content that should be filled to ensure safety and productivity
• Identify future training needs and help create a curriculum to support ongoing learning
• Design clear and engaging ways to present information using text, images, audio, and video
• Proofread, format, and edit documents and presentations
Skills/Background Needed:
• Strong writing skills and excellent English grammar
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to organize digital content
• Strong computer skills, including experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
• Excellent listening and communication skills with good interpersonal abilities
• Adaptable, with strong conflict resolution skills and an open mind
• Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, multi-task, and organize your time effectively
• Creative and resourceful problem-solver
• Willing to learn, teach, ask questions, and continuously improve
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with formal writing or multiple languages is a plus
No prior experience required – we’ll provide full training for the right candidate.
Contract Length: Full-time, permanent position
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
Location: On-site, 5 days per week
