Job Summary
As a Technical Writer, you will develop and maintain technical documentation for software and hardware products. This role involves creating user guides, installation manuals, quick start guides, and release notes. You’ll work with product managers and subject matter experts to produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with product managers and subject matter experts to create and update complete technical documentation
• Write high-quality content that is easy for customers to understand
• Create illustrations and graphics for technical documentation
• Design templates for technical documents
• Edit and review documentation for accuracy and consistency
• Develop plans and timelines for documentation projects
• Review documentation from a customer perspective to identify issues before release
• Support other team members to meet project deadlines
Skills/background needed
No prior experience is required—full training will be provided. We’re looking for someone with:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and explain complex technology in simple, user-friendly language
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn new tools and software
• Ability to collaborate with teams across different departments
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage projects with multiple deadlines
• Comfort working with computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, or similar)
