Do you win cases with your writing? We’re hiring a legal writer for a dedicated role where briefing is the primary focus rather than a side responsibility.
You will handle dispositive motions, separate statements, pretrial and post-trial briefing, writs, and appellate work across a range of litigation areas. The variety is the point: you will become the team’s go-to writer, developing deep expertise in legal writing rather than spreading yourself thin across multiple practice areas.
What you will do:
• Draft motions for summary judgment, demurrers, and other dispositive motions
• Handle law and motion practice across multiple litigation teams
• Prepare pretrial and post-trial briefing, writs, and appeals
• Work in a flexible hybrid environment with support for remote work
What we are looking for:
• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing
• Legal experience with a background in legal writing or law and motion practice
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• A writing sample will be requested during the application process
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent
