Live Chat Support Specialist – Healthcare (Remote, Full Time)

About the Role:

This is a fully remote position where you’ll work from home anywhere in the country. You’ll join a supportive team dedicated to helping people navigate their healthcare benefits and connect with the resources they need.

As a Live Chat Support Specialist, you’ll conduct outreach to members who have recently left the hospital, providing guidance on follow-up care with their primary care provider, transportation services, and medication support. You’ll help ensure members don’t fall through the cracks and get the care they deserve.

What You’ll Do:

• Guide members on using their healthcare plan benefits, including follow-up appointments and transportation options
• Complete assessments and accurately document member conversations
• Transfer members to additional support services when needed
• Provide coverage to teammates when they’re away
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• At least 18 years old
• Experience in a healthcare setting (doctor’s office, clinic, nursing facility, or similar environment) where you communicated with medical teams
• Experience handling inbound or outbound calls with patients or members
• Ability to work full time during standard business hours (7:30 am–5:00 pm Pacific, Monday–Friday)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (email, folders, attachments, calendar)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Experience managing your own workload independently

• Dedicated, quiet workspace in your home separate from living areas
• High-speed internet connection
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and data security

Training & Support:

We provide one week of paid, full-time training (8:30 am–5:00 pm Central time, Monday–Friday) to get you ready. After that, you’ll transition into your regular work schedule with ongoing support from your team.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full time, permanent
