We are seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team from home. This is an ideal role for someone starting their career in digital marketing, creative content, or social media management.
About the role:
You’ll work across a variety of marketing tasks in a collaborative, supportive environment. No prior marketing experience is necessary—we provide full training and guidance. You’ll gain hands-on experience in social media management, digital content creation, email marketing, and basic website updates.
What you’ll do:
Social Media Support
Daily engagement across social platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Houzz. Help organize content, brainstorm creative ideas, and support growth strategies. We encourage you to bring fresh, innovative ideas to enhance our digital presence.
Website & Digital Marketing Support
Update and manage website content using WordPress. Help optimize product pages for search engines. Draft and proofread marketing copy. Assist with email marketing tasks: organize client lists in spreadsheets, track campaign performance, and maintain basic reporting.
Event & Experience Support
Help with event planning, preparation, and day-of coordination. Tasks may include organizing materials, collecting attendee details, managing logistics, and post-event follow-up such as gift packaging and thank-you communications.
Administrative Support
Help source information, gather materials, and support general marketing and administrative requests as needed.
Skills/background needed:
A genuine interest in marketing, design, and social media. High comfort with Instagram; experience or interest in Pinterest, TikTok, and Houzz is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and spreadsheet software. Ability to manage shifting priorities and work independently. A personal laptop for daily work use. Reliable internet connection for remote work.
