Marketing Manager – Remote Entry Level

The role

We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to help build and execute a focused marketing programme from the ground up. This is a fully remote position suited to a resourceful generalist who can move between strategy and execution—someone who can shape a campaign, write the content, build the email, create polished drafts of materials and use performance data to determine what happens next.

You’ll work directly with leadership to develop clear messaging, create compelling content and campaigns, equip the commercial team and establish systems to measure and scale marketing efforts. The role will primarily support business growth efforts while contributing to various company communications and priorities as needed.

What you’ll own

Messaging, content and sales enablement

Create high-quality content across email, web, social media, case studies and partner communications. Develop and maintain core commercial materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers and launch materials. Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels. Manage external designers, writers, photographers and other specialists as needed.

Email and lifecycle marketing

Build and execute targeted email campaigns, newsletters and nurture programmes. Develop audience segmentation and marketing automation workflows. Manage email marketing platforms and maintain strong list and campaign practices. Measure engagement, conversion and campaign contribution, using results to improve future programmes.

Digital presence and discoverability

Manage core organic channels, with initial focus on professional networks and the company website. Develop an editorial calendar aligned with business priorities. Improve website discoverability and performance through content optimisation and keyword research. Partner with technical resources on advanced development and paid media as needed.

Marketing planning and measurement

Translate company priorities into focused quarterly marketing plans. Support go-to-market planning for new services and partnerships. Establish practical reporting that shows channel performance, audience engagement and progress against goals. Track marketing expenses and help leadership make informed investment decisions.

What success looks like in your first six months

Clear and consistent messaging across the website, sales materials and external communications. A repeatable content and email cadence for priority audiences. Core commercial collateral ready to support sales and partnerships. Foundational marketing automation workflows in place and measurable. A practical marketing dashboard showing which programmes are generating engagement. An actionable roadmap for the next stage of marketing investment and growth.

Skills/background needed

2+ years of hands-on marketing experience with demonstrated ownership across content, email, campaigns or integrated marketing. Exceptional writing and editing skills. Experience managing email campaigns through a marketing automation platform. Ability to create clean, professional drafts of collateral using design tools like Canva or Adobe. Experience managing projects from concept through execution, measurement and optimisation. Comfort working with performance data. A self-directed, collaborative approach and ability to operate effectively in a growth-stage environment. A portfolio or work samples demonstrating relevant writing, campaign or collateral experience.

Preferred

Experience in healthcare or another complex industry. Experience marketing to businesses or organisations in regulated sectors. Familiarity with search optimisation, website analytics and emerging AI search practices. Experience building a marketing programme, channel or process from the ground up. Experience collaborating with founders, executives or subject-matter experts.
