Marketing Specialist – Full Time, On-Site

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team and take ownership of marketing across our organization. You will manage trade shows and events, maintain our web presence, create brand materials, handle social media, produce project documentation, coordinate photography, and support business proposals. You’ll report to leadership and work in a collaborative, professional environment that values integrity and work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

Plan and coordinate the company’s presence at trade shows, conferences, and industry events — including booth setup, materials, registrations, and on-site representation

Keep company websites current and professional, including project features, news, staff profiles, and career postings

Produce professional marketing materials — brochures, presentations, advertisements, and announcements — with consistent branding

Create project descriptions and maintain an organized library of project documentation

Capture project photography and video, including drone footage, and manage the image library

Manage social media accounts and handle outbound communications including announcements and press releases

Support proposal development and business qualification packages

Own the marketing calendar and budget, recommending how to allocate marketing resources effectively

Skills/background needed: At least three years of full-time professional marketing experience, including event coordination and production of print and digital materials. You should have a portfolio of work you personally created. Strong writing and editing skills are essential. You’ll need working proficiency with website content management systems (such as WordPress) and major social media platforms, plus proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. You must have a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a background check, and be willing to travel periodically to project sites and events. A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred but not required — equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio will be considered.

Nice to Have: Five or more years of marketing experience; experience in engineering, architecture, or professional services; experience marketing to government and public-sector clients; experience managing marketing budgets and vendor relationships; proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud; photography and videography skills; experience with drone operation; or involvement with professional marketing organizations.

Why Join Us
