We’re looking for an entry-level media relations specialist to join our integrated marketing communications team. This is a fantastic opportunity to break into public relations and learn how to secure earned media coverage across traditional and digital channels.
About the role
You’ll work with our PR team to develop and pitch stories to journalists, media outlets, bloggers, and content creators. You’ll research relevant media opportunities, track industry trends, and learn how to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms. As part of our collaborative environment, you’ll work closely with colleagues across social media, content, and digital marketing to amplify coverage and identify trending topics that matter to our clients.
This is a hybrid position with a flexible schedule that balances in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.
What you’ll do
• Identify and pitch relevant story angles to journalists and media contacts
• Research reporters, outlets, and creators to understand their coverage areas and interests
• Write and refine pitches and press materials
• Track media coverage and compile results for clients
• Collaborate with team members across different marketing disciplines
• Monitor industry trends, social media, and news cycles for timely opportunities
• Work with multiple clients across different industries simultaneously
• Assist with occasional travel for events or client meetings

• Team player with strong collaboration skills
• Familiarity with AI writing tools like ChatGPT is a plus but not required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Contract length: Full-time, permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
