About the role
As a Medical Writer, you will use your scientific knowledge to develop and deliver medical communications projects. You’ll work with clients to create accurate, clear written materials based on scientific research and data.
What you’ll be doing:
Review and interpret data from research articles to create scientific written materials
Work with clients to understand project requirements and deliver materials that meet their needs
Conduct literature searches and stay informed about medical developments to ensure accuracy
Participate in client meetings and teleconferences
Translate clinical trial data and research findings into clear, accessible writing for different audiences
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
About you
You have an advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology, medicine, or a related field. You have 1–2 years of relevant experience in medical communications or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
You’re a strong written and verbal communicator with excellent attention to detail. You can work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines. You’re comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and you have strong internet research skills.
Skills/background needed:
Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology, medicine, or related field
1–2 years of experience in medical communications (or equivalent)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
