Are you someone who understands the power of clear communication in science and medicine?
As a Medical Writer, you will combine your love of science with strong writing skills to create training materials and educational content for biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical companies. In this role, you’ll translate complex scientific and medical information into clear, accurate, and compelling content for different audiences. You’ll work across a range of therapeutic areas and assignments, helping customers understand important information and ultimately supporting better patient outcomes. Full training will be provided, and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow your independence with each project.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll write and develop medical and scientific content for various projects and audiences. You’ll research and identify reliable sources to support your content, and accurately reference your work back to primary sources. You’ll manage multiple assignments, work to deadlines, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail throughout. You’ll apply feedback from supervisors and continue building your confidence and independence across different types of assignments.
Skills/background needed:
Strong writing skills and the ability to translate scientific and medical information clearly and accurately. Research skills and experience identifying appropriate sources for medical and scientific content. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadline pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Comfort following guidance, applying feedback, and building independence over time. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy required. Adobe Acrobat experience is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, language arts, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Some background in medical writing, technical writing, scientific communications, pharmaceutical or biotech training, or a related field is preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Contract length: Full-time
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
