We’re looking for an entry-level Multimedia Journalist to create compelling stories across multiple platforms. In this role, you’ll research, shoot, write, and edit content that connects with audiences. You’ll work on breaking news and feature stories in a fast-paced newsroom environment. No prior experience is required—we provide full training.
What You’ll Do:
Evaluate news leads and develop story ideas
Gather and verify information through interviews, observation, and research
Write stories according to editorial style and format standards
Shoot video and still photos to illustrate stories
Edit videos for multiple platforms
Appear on broadcast when conducting interviews or narration
Deliver live reports from event locations
Work cooperatively with assigned photographers and producers
Assist in preparing content for online and multimedia platforms
What You’ll Need:
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Strong computer skills and comfort learning newsroom systems
Willingness to learn videography and video editing
Strong writing skills
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Self-motivated and reliable
