We’re looking for a talented multimedia journalist and news anchor to join our newsroom as a full-time team member.
In this role, you’ll anchor weekend evening newscasts and report in the field three days per week. You’ll tell stories that matter to local communities, conduct thorough research and investigations, and contribute ideas that strengthen overall coverage. Strong writing, video production, and editing skills are essential—and yes, you should be comfortable picking up a camera when needed and producing enterprise-level content.
This is a leadership position. You’ll mentor junior journalists, set editorial direction, and help establish the tone for the newsroom’s journalism standards every day. We value journalists who ask tough questions, pursue accountability, and understand the importance of transparency and public records in storytelling.
You’ll work on-site at the workplace and be expected to report in the field, handle breaking news, and produce original content beyond routine coverage.
Skills/background needed: Strong writing, shooting, and editing abilities. Experience with field reporting and breaking news. Two years of journalism experience is preferred but we welcome applications from those with less experience who show strong potential and commitment to quality journalism. No experience necessary if you demonstrate the drive to learn.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent
