Roles: Paid Social Media Buyer
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Long-term contractor opportunity
Location: Fully remote
Skills/background needed: Experience running lead-generation campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, familiarity with Facebook lead forms, ability to think beyond cost metrics, clear communication skills, organized documentation habits
About the role
We are looking for a Paid Social Media Buyer to join our team and help manage Facebook and Instagram lead-generation campaigns. This is a hands-on role where you will create, launch, and optimize ad campaigns while focusing on campaign performance, lead quality, and clear communication with the team.
This is not a “set and forget” role. You will need to understand campaign setup, lead forms, creative testing, optimization, reporting, and how to diagnose underperforming campaigns. Good media buying here means thinking beyond low cost-per-lead—it means understanding lead quality, appointment bookings, client feedback, and real business results.
What you will own
You will help with:
Creating, launching, and managing ad campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
Setting up and testing lead capture forms
Reviewing campaign performance and identifying optimization opportunities
Testing new ad creatives, hooks, angles, and copy
Reviewing key metrics and understanding what they mean for client results
Diagnosing why campaigns are underperforming and recommending fixes
Documenting campaign changes, tests, and results clearly
Sending regular written or video updates to the team and clients
Communicating campaign issues, ideas, and next steps clearly
Working with the creative team to request or improve ad assets
What success looks like
First 30 days: You understand the campaign structure, quality standards, and SOPs. You can review accounts, spot obvious issues, assist with campaign testing, and document what you find. You complete supervised campaign work and provide practice updates.
First 60 days: You can help manage 2–4 accounts with review. You spot lead-quality issues, recommend improvements, and document your work clearly. You work more independently on routine tasks.
First 90 days: You manage 4–6 accounts with growing independence. You review campaigns consistently, communicate clearly, and escalate issues when needed. The team trusts you with routine campaign work.
Review schedule
You will review campaigns on a regular schedule: testing accounts every 2–4 days, stable accounts every 3–5 days, and urgent issues immediately. This means looking at the right data, making smart decisions, and documenting what changed.
Tools you may work with
You do not need to be an expert in every tool, but you should be comfortable learning:
Meta Ads Manager and Meta Business Suite
Facebook Lead Forms
Google Sheets
Loom (for recording video updates)
Canva (for basic design work)
CapCut or basic video editing tools
CRM systems and lead routing tools
Zapier or similar automation platforms
AI writing tools like ChatGPT or Claude for creative research and copy ideas
Full training will be provided on all tools used in the role.
Who we want
You are a strong fit if you:
Have hands-on experience running lead-generation campaigns on Facebook and Instagram
Understand how lead form quality affects lead quality and client results
Can explain what you check when a campaign underperforms
Understand that low cost-per-lead is not always the answer—results matter more
Can think through lead quality, client feedback, and creative improvements
Can suggest new creative angles, hooks, and ad copy ideas
Can give useful feedback on ad assets and creative direction
Document your work clearly and consistently
Can send clear written or video updates
Are organized, reliable, and can take feedback well
Want stable, long-term work with a focused team
Bonus experience
Experience with appointment-based lead generation, CRM workflows, lead routing, client video updates, static ad creatives, or short-form video ad strategy is a plus.
What we offer
Long-term remote contractor opportunity
Clear processes, training, and expectations
Consistent feedback and support
Opportunity to grow into more account ownership over time
Exposure to campaign strategy, creative strategy, reporting, and client delivery
A team focused on delivering real results
Hiring process
We use a multi-step screening process to make sure this is the right fit for both of us. This includes an application review, screening questions, a tool and experience assessment, a work sample, practical scenarios, and reference checks.

Please include the following in your application:
Your hands-on experience running Facebook and Instagram lead-generation campaigns
Examples of campaigns you have managed (screenshots, reports, or case studies if available)

Monthly ad spend or number of accounts you have managed
Your experience with lead forms, lead routing, or CRM systems
How you diagnose and fix underperforming campaigns
How you come up with new creative angles and ad tests
Tools you have used in paid social campaigns
Your expected monthly compensation in USD

Generic applications will not be considered. If you have campaign examples, screenshots, video updates, reports, or case studies, please include them to show how you think and work.
Compensation details
Compensation is based on experience, location, availability, communication ability, paid social advertising experience, creative strategy skills, and how independently you can manage campaign work. We are open to training the right person, but this is not a pure beginner role. If you have strong paid social lead-generation experience, there is room to grow into more account ownership and increased responsibility.
