Product Marketing Specialist – Enterprise SaaS Remote

About the role

The Product Marketing Specialist sits at the center of Product and Marketing, working daily across product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams. You will define the language, positioning, and content that shapes how the market understands what we do and why they should care. You’ll own how products are positioned, sold, and talked about from launch through customer renewal.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll help build the product marketing function from the ground up. You’ll report to the VP Marketing and own positioning, messaging, product launches, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement.

What you’ll do

Positioning and messaging: Develop core positioning and messaging frameworks that sales, marketing, and leadership can use consistently across all external channels. Write advertising copy, website messaging, social media content, executive talking points, and webinar materials that translate positioning into language customers understand and trust. Partner with the Product team to align go-to-market strategy with product capability.

Product launches: Own the go-to-market plan for new product features, including messaging strategy, sales enablement materials, customer communications, and launch content. Run launch retrospectives to learn what resonates and refine your approach for future releases.

Competitive intelligence: Build and maintain competitive positioning. Equip sales and leadership teams with training materials, playbooks, objection-handling guides, and win/loss insights drawn from real field experience.

Sales enablement: Create pitch decks, one-pagers, ROI narratives, demo storylines, customer case studies, testimonials, and reference materials that sales teams deploy at every stage of the sales funnel. Train sales and customer-facing teams on new positioning as it evolves.

Analyst and category support: Partner with the Analyst Relations team to align category narrative with industry analysts and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Contribute customer outcomes and product insights to analyst evaluations and briefings.

Skills/background needed:

5–8 years of product marketing experience at an enterprise B2B SaaS company, with direct ownership of positioning, messaging, and product launches. Experience marketing to enterprise buyers with complex, multi-stakeholder decision-making processes. Proven track record of creating sales enablement content that teams actually use in the field. Comfortable working independently to build processes and playbooks rather than maintain established ones.

Strong writing and communication skills across formats — from advertising copy and social posts to executive one-pagers. Able to translate complex product capability into clear language that resonates with senior decision-makers. Experience with marketing platforms and campaign automation tools. Data-informed approach: you tie messaging and launch decisions to pipeline, win rates, and adoption outcomes rather than intuition alone.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
