We’re hiring a Proposal Writer to join our growing team. You’ll develop, edit, and refine high-quality proposal content in support of government contracting opportunities, and collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
This is a fully remote position. No prior proposal writing experience is required—we provide full training and support to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
Proposal Writing & Content Development
You’ll develop clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content in response to government solicitations. You’ll work with subject matter experts and technical personnel to translate complex information into evaluator-focused narratives. You’ll also develop content addressing technical approaches, management strategies, staffing plans, quality control, risk management, and corporate experience.
Technical Editing & Quality Assurance
You’ll perform editing, copyediting, and proofreading of proposal materials for clarity, accuracy, consistency, grammar, and professional presentation. You’ll ensure technical concepts are communicated accurately to both technical and non-technical readers, improve narrative flow, and verify consistency across all proposal sections and materials.
Solicitation Analysis & Compliance
You’ll review and analyze government solicitations and related documentation. You’ll interpret proposal instructions and evaluation criteria, write content aligned with requirements, support development of compliance documents, and flag any potential issues or risks.
Proposal Development & Collaboration
You’ll collaborate with proposal teams, technical experts, program managers, and leadership. You’ll participate in proposal meetings, solutioning sessions, and content reviews. You’ll integrate content from multiple authors into unified proposals and incorporate feedback throughout the drafting process.
Proposal Management Support
You’ll manage assigned writing and editing tasks according to proposal schedules and deadlines. You’ll track open items and content gaps, maintain version control, and support final proposal production and quality control. You’ll also help maintain reusable proposal content and libraries.
