We’re looking to fill a remote chat assistant role with multiple organizations currently recruiting for these positions across the globe. Chat assistants provide real-time support by responding to visitors’ inquiries through live chat on company websites, whether for customer service or sales purposes. All work takes place online, typically from your home.
Your responsibilities will include completing an onboarding process to familiarize yourself with the role and the specific business you’ll be supporting. Your day-to-day work involves accessing the company’s chat system and addressing customer inquiries as they come in—both service-related and commercial in nature. You’ll have access to reference materials covering frequently asked questions and ongoing assistance from your support team to help you succeed.
Contract length: Flexible, no set end date
Rate: $25 – $35 per hour
Skills/background needed: Access to a device that can handle website chat and social media platforms (Smartphone/Tablet/Computer). Ability to work self-directed. Comfort with following detailed documentation and instructions precisely. Capacity to dedicate 8 hours daily. Fast, dependable internet access required.
Hours per week: Minimum 10 hours weekly
Location: Work from anywhere online (United States is preferred).
