About the Role
We are seeking a digitally confident assistant to manage social media content and administrative operations for a creative education business. You will split your time between creating and managing social media across multiple platforms and handling the behind-the-scenes systems that keep everything running smoothly—registrations, payments, scheduling, and website updates. You’ll work directly with the leadership team and have real ownership over your areas.
What You’ll Do
Social Media Content & Management
Plan, shoot, edit, and post short-form video and photo content for Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Manage a content calendar aligned with class launches, seasonal offerings, and events
Write captions, respond to comments and direct messages, and engage with the community
Track performance and adjust content based on what resonates with your audience
Student Registration & Scheduling
Set up and maintain class listings, schedules, and availability in the scheduling system
Monitor registrations, waitlists, and cancellations
Communicate with students about confirmations, changes, and reminders
Keep student records organized and up to date
Payment Processing
Process and reconcile tuition and class payments
Set up invoices, payment plans, and refunds as needed
Flag discrepancies and keep clean records
Website Updates
Update class pages, pricing, dates, imagery, and copy as offerings change
Keep the site accurate, current, and visually consistent
Make layout and design improvements as needed
Skills/Background Needed
Fluent in Instagram and TikTok as a creator
Able to learn new platforms quickly and independently
Strong writing skills and a good eye for visual design
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, especially around scheduling and money handling
Self-directed and proactive—you notice problems and address them before they escalate
Warm, professional communication style with students and prospective students
Comfortable shooting and editing video on a phone using tools like CapCut or built-in Instagram editing
Fluent in written and verbal English
Authorized to work and able to commute reliably to the workplace
No prior experience required—we provide full training on all tools and systems.
Nice to Have
Experience with Canva
Familiarity with email marketing tools
Prior experience supporting a small business, studio, or educational organization
What We Offer
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
Contract length: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Schedule: Typically 3 days per week on weekdays, flexible arrangement
