Role Summary
We’re seeking a creative, enthusiastic individual to help grow our social media presence across all platforms. You’ll use your writing skills, creativity, and passion to engage audiences and share compelling content. If you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and love collaborating with a supportive team, this role is for you. This is a one-year position.
What You’ll Do
- Create and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for opportunities to engage with audiences and grow our following
- Assist in writing weekly content highlights for email newsletters
- Stay informed on current social media trends and platform-specific best practices
- Develop new content ideas based on current trends and audience insights
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed
Skills/background needed
- Basic familiarity with major social media networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- General computer and smartphone proficiency
- Willingness to learn social media management tools
- Bachelor’s degree required; marketing experience preferred but not essential
