We’re looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Associate to help build community awareness and engagement through strategic social media outreach. Working fully remote, you’ll create compelling content, connect with prospective community members online, and cultivate relationships that help build our audience.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys social media, relationship building, and creating authentic connections. No prior professional experience is necessary – we provide full training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a social media content plan across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and others)• Create engaging, authentic content that showcases our community and resonates with our audience• Monitor trends and adapt your content strategy to stay current and relevant• Maintain a consistent posting schedule throughout your engagement period• Foster genuine conversations through comments, messages, and direct engagement• Build and maintain a list of interested community members and track their engagement levels• Document conversations, interactions, and interest levels to share with the wider team• Collaborate with other team members to ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms• Provide regular updates on content performance, engagement metrics, and audience growth
Skills/Background Needed:
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and current social media trends• Excellent written communication skills• Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships through social media• Able to work independently in a remote environment• Canva experience is a plus• Basic video editing experience is a plus• No prior professional experience required – we’ll train you
