Social Media & Communications Coordinator – Entry Level (On-Site)

About the Role

We’re looking for an ambitious Social Media & Communications Coordinator to help build and run our social media presence across multiple platforms. You’ll create compelling content, manage our social calendar, support executive communications, and work closely with marketing, sales, and design teams to ensure our best stories reach the right audiences.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real impact: building our presence on newer platforms from the ground up, creating engaging short-form and long-form content, managing publishing schedules, and tracking what resonates with our audience. You’ll work directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop content strategies that align with company milestones and campaigns.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a unified content calendar across multiple social platforms, planning around product launches, campaigns, and industry moments while staying nimble enough to react to trends and conversations in real time

• Create and curate on-brand content including graphics, short-form video, and copy across all platforms

• Build presence on growth-focused platforms from the ground up, developing content themes and shooting/editing video content

• Support executive communications by creating content in the appropriate tone for different platforms and audiences, and monitoring engagement

• Partner across teams (sales, customer success, product, design) to identify and develop content from customer stories, product updates, and company culture moments

• Source and coordinate with external voices, creators, and industry experts to amplify reach and authenticity

• Design graphics and templates using design tools, ensuring brand consistency across all assets

• Monitor social conversations in real time, engage with audiences, and surface insights

• Track performance metrics, learn what’s working, and bring recommendations for where to focus efforts

• Support broader communications and marketing efforts as needed

Skills/background needed:

• Proficiency and genuine comfort with major social platforms—you understand each platform’s culture and best practices

• Strong writing skills with an ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences and platforms

• Ability to design graphics using Canva or similar tools; able to produce clean, on-brand visuals independently

• Ability to shoot and edit short-form video on mobile or with lightweight editing tools

• Familiarity with social analytics and performance tracking tools

• Experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar) to support content creation and workflow

• Strong organizational skills—comfortable managing multiple content calendars and juggling stakeholder requests

• Bias toward action and sound judgment—able to move quickly on trends while protecting brand integrity

• Curious about healthcare, AI, or technology. You don’t need to be an expert, but genuine interest is important

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate degree preferred

Nice to Have:

• Experience launching or growing a platform from early stages

• Connections within creator, industry expert, or thought leadership communities

• Experience supporting an executive’s personal brand or communications

• Familiarity with regulated industry communications

Contract length: Full-time, permanent

Location: On-site, five days per week at our office location

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
