Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic coordinator to join our team in a dual role supporting community engagement and social media growth. Key Responsibilities

Community Outreach

Develop and Implement Outreach Strategies:Create and execute outreach plans to engage with local communities and stakeholders. Identify and build partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and local figures.

Event Coordination:Help plan, organize, and attend community events, meetings, and activities. Manage event logistics including scheduling, promotion, and coordination on the day.

Relationship Building:Build and maintain positive relationships with community members and partners. Act as a point of contact between the organization and the community, addressing questions and feedback in a professional manner.

Social Media Management

Content Creation and Curation:Develop engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others. Share user-generated content to boost community engagement.

Social Media Strategy:Help create and implement social media strategies that align with organizational goals. Monitor trends and adjust approaches to keep content relevant and engaging.

Analytics and Reporting:Track and analyze social media performance metrics to measure campaign success. Prepare regular reports on social media activity and community outreach results.

Communications and Marketing

Campaign Development:Work with the team to develop and execute marketing campaigns. Ensure messaging and branding stay consistent across all channels.

Content Writing:Write and edit content for newsletters, announcements, blog posts, and website materials. Keep all communications clear, engaging, and on-brand.

Skills/background needed:Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Comfort using social media platforms.
