We’re looking for a creative, outgoing, and reliable social media and content assistant to join our marketing team on a part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys social media, creating short-form video, and is comfortable being in front of the camera. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to help create content that feels authentic, engaging, and resonates with our audience.
Position Details
Job Type: Part-Time
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week
Schedule: Flexible, with some availability during business hours
Location: Local positions available.
Contract Length: Initial 3-month trial period, with the opportunity to continue as an ongoing part-time role
What You’ll Do
• Assist with creating social media content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
• Appear on camera and help create short-form videos
• Brainstorm creative content ideas, trends, and campaigns
• Film and assist with basic editing of Reels, TikToks, and other video content
• Schedule and publish social media posts
• Stay up to date on current social media trends, sounds, formats, and best practices
• Assist with photography and other content creation activities
• Help with various marketing and social media projects as needed
• Bring your own creativity and personality to the content we create
Skills/Background Needed
• Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
• Outgoing and personable
• Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current social media trends
• Willing to learn social media management tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content
• Basic photo or video editing experience is a plus
• Previous marketing or social media experience is helpful, but not required
No prior industry experience necessary—we’re more interested in your personality, creativity, and ability to create content people actually want to watch. Full training will be provided.
What to Expect
This position begins as a three-month introductory part-time role. At the end of the three months, we’ll have a conversation about how things are going and determine whether continuing in an ongoing part-time position is the right fit for you.
