Social Media & Content Associate – Full Time (Remote)

We’re looking for a creative storyteller and social media enthusiast to join our team. You’ll manage the day-to-day operations of our content production across all social platforms, working with a supportive creative team to bring ideas to life through authentic storytelling.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll own the operational and production side of our organic content. You’ll manage content calendars, collaborate with video editors, develop new content ideas, track performance, and be the face behind some of our day-to-day content creation. This role rewards ownership and independent thinking rather than just task completion.

What You’ll Own

• Content calendars and planning across all social platforms and community channels
• Coordinating with video editors and deciding which ideas need creative direction versus which you’ll create yourself
• Brainstorming fresh content ideas and finding new ways to use existing assets
• Managing blog posting consistency, design, and schedule
• Recording and producing day-to-day organic content
• Building community through engagement on our social channels

Skills/background needed

Entry-level with either:
• 1+ year of professional or internship experience in content, social media, or digital marketing, OR
• Real coursework, portfolio projects, or extracurricular involvement in these areas you can show us

You should be:
• Comfortable on camera and behind it as a creator
• Able to speak on camera naturally, with or without a script
• Familiar with using AI-assisted content tools (though you’ll need to demonstrate your own creative and copywriting skills independently)
• A clear, authentic communicator without a heavy sales tone

Nice to have

• Basic experience with video editing or graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut)
• Comfort with camera setup, lighting, and audio basics
• Understanding of content analytics and performance metrics

What Success Looks Like

You’ll manage your content calendar independently with confidence. You’ll start projects on your own initiative and bring creative ideas to the table. Your planning stays organized weeks ahead, your analytics stay tracked, and your community stays engaged. You’ll also bring energy and collaboration to the team.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll report to the Head of Organic Marketing, who provides strategic direction and final approval on major projects. Organic and paid work are kept separate, so you’ll focus entirely on organic content creation.
