Position Overview
We’re looking for a creative and organized Social Media Content Creator & Coordinator to help manage and grow multiple brands across social media platforms.
This role combines both the creative and organizational sides of social media work. You’ll help create content ideas, write captions, understand trends, and support content creation—but the core of this position is organization, scheduling, direct messages, influencer outreach, user-generated content tracking, and keeping the social media calendar moving smoothly.
This is not just a posting role, and it’s not only a content creation role. You’ll help keep social media organized, active, responsive, and on-brand across multiple accounts. Each brand has its own voice and audience, so you’ll need to adapt your approach while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities
Social Media Scheduling & Organization
Maintain and organize the social media content calendar. Schedule posts using industry-standard scheduling tools. Keep track of upcoming campaigns, product launches, holidays, events, content deadlines, and posting schedules. Make sure captions, assets, posting dates, approvals, and platform requirements are organized and accessible to the team. Coordinate with content creators, designers, and the marketing team to keep posts moving on time. Confirm that the correct content is scheduled for the correct brand, platform, and date. Help prevent last-minute posting issues by keeping the calendar organized well in advance. Organize social assets, captions, links, campaign notes, and post details for easy team access.
Community Management
Respond to direct messages, comments, and audience interactions professionally and on-brand. Help build engagement across brand social platforms. Flag customer questions, complaints, product issues, or important messages to the correct team member. Maintain each brand’s voice when communicating with followers. Encourage positive interaction and user-generated content when appropriate. Monitor audience conversations and identify common questions, feedback, or trends. Help make the brand feel active, responsive, and connected to its community.
Influencer Outreach & User-Generated Content Management
Find and recruit influencers or content creators that fit our brands. Send outreach messages and follow up with potential influencers. Collect needed influencer information such as contact details, shipping information, and product preferences. Help coordinate product seeding and care packages. Track who received packages, who posted, and who needs follow-up. Save, organize, and report influencer content, user-generated content, repost opportunities, and creator deliverables. Maintain influencer lists and communication records. Identify strong user-generated content that can be reused, reposted, or shared with the creative team. Help build a consistent influencer and user-generated content pipeline.
Trend & Platform Awareness
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, memes, sounds, formats, and cultural moments. Bring trend-based content ideas to the team. Understand how to adapt trends in a compliant way. Monitor competitors and similar brands for inspiration and positioning. Help identify what types of content are performing and what should be improved. Understand the difference between content that feels natural and content that feels forced or overly promotional. Pay attention to what audiences are engaging with across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X.
Social Media Content Creation
Come up with creative content ideas for multiple brands. Shoot basic photo and video content for social media when needed. Create short-form content ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X. Write captions that match each brand’s tone and audience. Create hooks, content prompts, meme ideas, story ideas, and post concepts. Help create content that feels organic, relevant, and attention-grabbing. Work with the creative team to plan and capture content. Help pair visuals with captions, sounds, trends, and storytelling angles.
Compliance & Brand Standards
Make sure social content stays aligned with brand voice and compliance expectations. Understand or be willing to learn platform restrictions for the industries we work in. Avoid content that targets minors, shows irresponsible use, makes unsupported claims, or violates platform rules. Work with the marketing team for approvals when needed. Keep all content aligned with brand standards.
Skills/background needed:
1–3 years of social media, content creation, influencer, or community management experience preferred. Talented entry-level candidates with strong content examples will be considered. Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, and other social platforms. Ability to write captions, hooks, direct messages, influencer outreach messages, and short-form copy. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable managing multiple brands and different brand voices. Able to work on-site full time. Willing to learn compliance rules and platform guidelines. Experience with content calendar tools or scheduling platforms is helpful. Able to manage influencer outreach, user-generated content tracking, direct messages, and content calendar organization.
Nice to Have
