Social Media Content Creator – Part Time, Entry Level

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, self-driven Social Media Coordinator who loves content, community, and making events stand out. This part-time role builds brand presence online and drives bookings, events, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate can shoot and edit short-form video on a phone, write engaging content, and stay organized across a busy event calendar. You’ll work closely with management to develop and implement marketing strategies that deliver consistent, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and schedule content across social media channels, including reels, stories, and event promotions
• Develop promotional campaigns for events and special activities to drive bookings
• Launch and manage paid social media advertising campaigns
• Capture photos and videos on-site during events
• Support event setup and execution as needed
• Track content performance and event booking metrics
• Coordinate giveaways, cross-promotions, and local partnerships to grow reach

Skills/background needed: No prior marketing experience required. You’re comfortable shooting and editing short-form video on a phone, highly organized, and able to manage multiple content and event calendars. Familiarity with basic design tools like Canva is helpful. Experience with paid social advertising is a plus, but full training will be provided.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week with potential to expand based on performance. Some evening and weekend hours around events as needed.

Location: On-site, local position available.
