Role: Social Media Content Creator
Contract length: Part-time, temporary position
Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week, flexible to fit around your schedule

About the role:
We’re looking for a creative, motivated individual to join our marketing team and gain real-world experience in social media content creation. You’ll work on developing, producing and sharing engaging social media content across multiple platforms. No prior experience is required—we’ll train you on everything you need to know.
This is a perfect opportunity to learn social media strategy, content planning and digital marketing in a supportive team environment.
What you’ll do:
- Brainstorm and create engaging content ideas for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn and Snapchat
- Produce short-form videos and write captions for social media posts
- Collaborate with team members on content creation projects
- Keep up with social media trends and think about how to use them in our content
- Monitor analytics and competitor activity to inform content strategy
- Attend campus events to capture photo and video content for social media
- Help with live content coverage such as Instagram Stories and behind-the-scenes videos
- Review partner social media channels for collaboration opportunities
Skills/background needed:
- Passion for social media and familiarity with major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Reliability and flexibility to help out at events when needed
- Comfort interacting with people while capturing content
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing is helpful but not required
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus
- Video editing experience is preferred but we can train you
