Role: Social Media Content Creator
Contract length: Part-time, flexible commitment (~5–10 hours per week)

About This Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic content creator to help edit and schedule short-form video clips for social media. You’ll take longer teaching content, identify the most engaging 35–90 second segments, and prepare them for publication across multiple platforms. This is a perfect opportunity to develop your video editing and social media scheduling skills in a real-world setting.
What You’ll Do
• Identify and extract compelling 35–90 second segments from longer content
• Create short-form video clips with captions and graphics using standard editing tools
• Write clear, engaging titles and captions optimised for search and social discovery
• Prepare platform-ready assets (thumbnails, pin variants, and other visual elements)
• Schedule posts across social platforms using scheduling tools
• Maintain an organised publishing calendar and track content performance
• Flag standout content moments and provide weekly content summaries
Skills/Background Needed
• Experience or strong interest in short-form video creation and editing
• Comfortable using Google Sheets and Google Docs for organisation
• Strong writing skills for captions, titles, and social media copy
• Willingness to learn new scheduling and project management tools
• Able to commit 5–10 hours per week for at least 4–6 months
Nice to have: Experience scheduling on YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram; familiarity with platform best practices; background in community or cause-driven communications
