About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a fully remote basis. You’ll help create, manage, and optimise social media content across multiple platforms, working with clients to boost their online presence and engagement.
This is a great entry-level opportunity if you’re passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing. Full training will be provided – no prior experience necessary.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Social Media Management
Help develop, write, and edit engaging content for social media platforms, blogs, email, and websites tailored to target audiences. Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing posts across various platforms while maintaining consistency with brand voice and style. Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns to drive engagement and traffic.
Community Engagement
Actively manage and engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally. Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and provide insights to help improve strategies.
Content Planning & Organisation
Maintain and update content calendars to ensure timely delivery of posts and campaigns. Research social media accounts across major platforms for optimisation purposes. Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance online presence.
Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, sales, and other team members to align content strategies with business goals. Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to help generate quality work across the organisation.
Website & Search Optimisation Support
Assist with maintaining and updating client websites. Support search engine optimisation efforts to help improve online visibility. Conduct basic quality assurance and testing to ensure content displays correctly across devices and browsers.
Skills/Background Needed
No prior experience required. We’re looking for someone with enthusiasm for social media and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest is helpful but not essential – we’ll provide full training.
Basic comfort with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media management tools is beneficial. Any experience with content creation, writing, or digital marketing is a plus.
Contract Length
Ongoing, with potential to move into a permanent role.
Location
