Social Media Coordinator – Content & Events, Remote

About the role

We’re looking for an organized, detail-minded Social Media Coordinator to join our digital communications team. You’ll support the execution of social media strategies across multiple platforms, managing content calendars, creating engaging assets, and helping amplify campaigns for events and initiatives. This is a great entry-level opportunity to grow your skills in social media marketing while working with a creative, collaborative team.

What you’ll do:

• Curate and organize content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn

• Manage social media content calendars, including copywriting, scheduling, posting, and audience engagement

• Quality-check graphic assets and creative materials for campaigns and events

• Create social media assets such as GIFs, mobile-first videos, and static graphics

• Maintain organized digital archives of static, motion graphics, and video assets

• Capture live content at events and editorial shoots

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather priorities and ensure smooth campaign execution

• Contribute ideas and input to social media strategy and campaign planning

• Develop social media toolkits and resources for partners and team members

• Generate analytics reports using platform insights

• Share relevant content across social channels for maximum reach

Skills/background needed:

• 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing (entertainment or event marketing experience is a plus, but not required)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

• Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines

• Comfortable working across major social media platforms

• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

• Working knowledge of basic analytics and reporting

• Comfort with content management systems and email marketing tools like Mailchimp

• Self-starter mindset with a collaborative, team-player attitude

• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays to support events

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
