About the role:

We’re seeking a creative and organised Social Media Coordinator to join our team. You’ll take ownership of our institutional social media presence, creating engaging content and managing our digital community across multiple platforms. What you’ll do:

• Develop and execute social media strategies across assigned platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter

• Create engaging content – photos, videos, written posts and other media – tailored to each platform

• Build relationships with internal teams and stakeholders to identify and develop compelling stories for social sharing

• Plan and manage both organic and paid social media campaigns to increase engagement and reach

• Monitor social conversations, respond to comments and messages, and nurture an active online community

• Track performance metrics and analyse audience insights to improve content strategy over time

• Keep up with emerging social media trends and platforms to ensure our presence stays fresh and competitive

• Develop and maintain editorial calendars for consistent posting across all managed accounts

• Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and accessibility best practices

Skills/background needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3 years of experience managing social media accounts or digital marketing

• Comfortable creating and curating content across multiple platforms

• Familiarity with social media analytics and platform insights

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across departments

• Organised and able to manage multiple projects at once

• Bonus: experience with content creation tools like Canva or video editing software
