About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Part-Time Social Media Coordinator to help build and grow our online presence! You’ll play a key role in creating engaging content, managing our social channels, and building a connected community across digital platforms.
You’ll work closely with our team to highlight exciting moments and activities, keeping our social channels active, consistent, and fun. No prior professional experience needed—we provide full training and support.
What You’ll Do
• Capture photo and video content at events and activities
• Create and edit content for social media (Instagram posts, reels, stories, etc.)
• Schedule and publish content across platforms
• Manage day-to-day social media activity, including posting, engaging with followers, and responding to messages and comments
• Collaborate with team members to promote events and campaigns
• Brainstorm and execute creative content ideas
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms
• Track basic performance metrics and share insights on what content resonates with your audience
• Attend on-site events when needed to capture key moments
Skills/Background Needed
• Genuine passion for social media and community building
• Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram and TikTok)
• Basic photo and video editing skills (smartphone editing, Canva, or similar tools)
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Creative mindset with an eye for engaging, shareable content
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends to capture live events
• Able to take initiative and manage tasks independently
Nice to Have
• A strong personal or professional social media presence
• Prior experience creating content for brands, events, or communities
• Knowledge of trending content and viral-style posts
Working Conditions
Hours: Flexible, part-time (evenings and weekends required for event coverage)
Location: Mix of on-site at event venues and remote work for editing and scheduling
Travel: Occasional travel to local events and venues
