Social Media Coordinator – Remote (Entry Level)

About the role:

You’ll support our mission by managing daily social media activity, online directory listings, and monitoring brand reputation online. This role involves creating, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple platforms, engaging with audiences, and ensuring accurate online profiles. You’ll work with your manager to plan and execute multi-media content in a collaborative, supportive environment.

What you’ll do:

Social Media Operations
Execute daily social media tasks including scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and responding to followers. Create engaging, audience-specific content that aligns with brand guidelines. Monitor all channels and respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Track brand mentions and trends, escalating any reputation concerns as needed.

Online Reputation & Listings
Monitor and respond to reviews across multiple platforms. Track review sentiment and report critical feedback to appropriate teams. Maintain accurate and consistent directory listings and online profiles across various business directories and company website pages.

Content Support
Assist with copywriting and editing for blogs and other digital content. Help maintain the content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant posting aligned with organizational goals. Track, measure, and report on engagement metrics to optimize performance.

Skills/background needed:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
• Proven ability to create and manage engaging content on social media platforms
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva
• Basic knowledge of web traffic metrics
• Familiarity with social media management tools and review management platforms
• Experience with digital marketing (internships count)
• Ability to capture and edit photos and videos for social platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, public relations, or related field
