About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to help us build and maintain our online presence. You’ll be the primary voice behind our social media accounts, creating engaging content, responding to our community, and telling our story across multiple platforms.
This is a fully remote position perfect for someone starting their career in social media marketing or looking to develop these skills further. No prior experience is necessary—we provide full training and support.
What you’ll be doing
• Manage and post content across our social media accounts, following strategies and guidelines provided by the team
• Respond to messages, comments, and mentions from our audience on a daily basis
• Engage proactively with our community by interacting with posts and building relationships
• Create and edit video content using tools like video editing software
• Work with photographers, designers, and copywriters to bring social media ideas to life
• Monitor trends and conversations in our industry to spot opportunities or issues
• Post organic content showing our day-to-day activities and events
• Support other team members with individual social media needs as requested
• Cover events and gatherings to capture content and share updates
• Collaborate with teammates to brainstorm new content ideas
Skills and background needed
• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and pay attention to detail
• Comfortable working under deadlines
• Willingness to learn video editing basics
• Willingness to learn graphic design principles to support content creation
• Ability to learn and communicate a specific brand voice
• Reliable, collaborative attitude and ability to work within a team
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or relevant work experience in social media
