About the role:
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to develop, execute, and oversee our social media strategy across all platforms. You’ll be the creative lead responsible for content calendars, brand consistency, video production, and digital engagement. This is a full-time remote position where you’ll work independently and collaborate with internal teams to drive our digital presence.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies and content calendars across all platforms
• Create and oversee video content, graphics, and digital media production
• Manage and guide multiple social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging
• Serve as point of contact for social media technology implementation across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other platforms
• Work with design software to create engaging visual content
• Collaborate with other departments to support digital outreach and brand alignment
• Manage digital budgets and track analytics to measure performance
• Mentor and organize team members, student workers, and interns
• Maintain detailed reporting on social media metrics and engagement
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for marketing and promotion
• Proficiency with design software and video editing tools
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for engagement
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable learning new technology and adapting to a changing environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
• Professional demeanor and ability to work independently and as part of a team
