About the role: As a Social Media Specialist, you’ll manage and grow social media presence across multiple platforms. You’ll create engaging content, monitor community interactions, and help build a strong online presence. No prior experience needed—full training and support provided.
What you’ll do daily:
Check notifications and respond to comments and messages across all accounts. Manage multiple company pages with good judgment and creativity. Curate engaging content using Canva and a provided content calendar. Monitor and adjust ongoing advertisements to ensure they perform well. Stay on top of relevant industry news and repurpose content for social media. Create content for Instagram and Facebook stories to increase page activity. Track and promote branded hashtags, encouraging others to use them. Spotlight community members and local businesses. Mix professional content with light, engaging pieces that connect with your audience. Create graphics and videos for home listings and client testimonials. Monitor trending topics and stay aware of algorithm changes. Share content from partner accounts. Provide support for various team requests. Post company blog content and create supplementary promotional material. Write occasional blog articles on topics like home trends and community pieces. Create short and long-form copy with attention to tone, spelling, and grammar. Engage with content during off-hours when able. Stay responsive to emails, messages, and internal requests.
What you’ll do weekly:
Meet with your manager to discuss ongoing activities and new ideas. Curate and post featured listings. Write engaging copy for luxury listings. Schedule posts for the weekend using scheduling tools. Share content from partner businesses. Attend team meetings to troubleshoot issues and brainstorm new content ideas.

Ongoing responsibilities:
Research new and emerging social media platforms. Develop engaging new initiatives. Repurpose and create new content. Conduct video interviews using provided tools. Post welcome content for new team members. Explore professional development opportunities. Occasionally teach informal sessions on social media best practices. Work independently, prioritise tasks, and stay accessible to your team. Bring ideas and concerns to leadership openly.
Skills/background needed: Basic social media familiarity (personal use is fine), ability to write clearly, comfort learning new tools, willingness to take direction, and enthusiasm for engaging with online communities. Experience with Canva or similar design tools is helpful but not required. You do not need to be an industry expert—you’ll learn on the job with full support.
