We’re looking for an entry-level Social Media Specialist to help develop, create, and manage engaging content across social media platforms. You’ll work with our team to build community, respond to audience feedback, and help grow our online presence. This is a fully remote role—perfect for someone starting their career in social media management.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll be responsible for creating and publishing timely, engaging content across social platforms. You’ll monitor performance metrics, respond to audience comments and messages, and work with the marketing team to support campaign goals. You’ll also help identify trends, analyze what’s working, and suggest improvements to boost engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, edit, and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and other social platforms
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, reviews, and customer inquiries
• Monitor and flag any sensitive or concerning online interactions
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with campaigns and brand goals
• Track and analyze engagement metrics to understand what content resonates
• Research industry trends and competitor strategies to stay current
• Help document processes and improve team workflows
Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. We provide full training. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be organised and able to manage multiple tasks, and be genuinely interested in social media and online community management. Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is helpful. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent role
