We’re seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to help build and grow our brand presence across digital platforms. In this role, you’ll create engaging content, manage social media campaigns, and track performance to drive growth and engagement. Roles: Social Media Specialist
Contract length: Ongoing freelance (1099)
Hours: Part time, 15–20 hours per week. You’ll have flexibility to set your own schedule, with the requirement to coordinate with management during their business hours.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location: Fully remote – work from anywhere with an internet connection. Your own computer is required.
What you’ll be doing:
• Develop and manage social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok
• Create engaging content including text posts, graphics, videos, and photography that align with brand messaging and goals
• Use content creation tools such as Canva to produce visually appealing posts and graphics
• Manage and optimize social media advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement
• Respond to comments, messages, and direct interactions to build community relationships and maintain a positive brand presence
Skills/background needed:
• Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field (portfolio of past work appreciated)
• Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva
• Understanding of how social media platforms work and what content performs well
• Ability to write clearly and create compelling captions and posts
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Enthusiasm for storytelling and connecting with audiences online
