About the role:
We’re looking for an entry-level sports writer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your portfolio while covering live sports events, writing game recaps, and creating engaging content across multiple formats.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in various aspects of sports journalism, including written articles, social media posts, photography, videography, and promotional content. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and support as you develop your skills.
What you’ll do:
Your primary responsibilities will include writing game recaps and match reports, creating social media content, assisting with photography and videography, and supporting promotional activities. As part of a small, collaborative team, you’ll wear multiple hats and contribute to making events enjoyable for all attendees.
Skills/background needed:
A genuine interest in sports and passion for writing. Familiarity with social media platforms is helpful but not essential. We’re looking for someone eager to learn, reliable, and ready to take on varied tasks.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
