We’re looking for a detail-oriented Technical Editor to join our growing remote team. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone starting their career in editing and content refinement.
About the Role:
As a Technical Editor, you’ll review written content for grammar, punctuation, syntax, logic, clarity, and consistency. You’ll ensure that style and format align with established guidelines and specialized vocabulary standards. Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing and refining written products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax
• Checking for logical flow, clarity, and consistency throughout documents
• Ensuring all content follows prescribed style guides and formatting standards
• Amending tables, text boxes, and graphics to align with accompanying narrative
• Collaborating with writers and authors to revise and improve content
• Working with teams to research and address content challenges
Skills/background needed:
• Strong grasp of grammar, punctuation, and syntax
• Ability to identify and correct logical inconsistencies
• Excellent attention to detail
• Collaborative communication skills
• Ability to follow style guides and formatting standards
• Experience with written content (academic writing, professional documentation, or similar)
• Comfortable working with digital documents and editing tools
