About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented administrative professional to support leadership with technical documentation, proposal materials, administrative coordination, and document management. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to develop real-world skills in technical writing, business administration, and documentation support.
You’ll work on a variety of tasks including drafting and editing documents, organizing materials, coordinating meetings, and maintaining organized digital files and systems. If you’re organized, enjoy working with details, and want to develop professional writing skills, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Technical Writing & Documentation Support
• Draft, edit, proofread, and format technical documents, proposals, reports, presentations, and administrative materials
• Support leadership and teams with document preparation, research, and content development
• Help prepare materials for client submissions and important deadlines
• Maintain organized document libraries and ensure content is properly organized and easy to find
• Create presentations, meeting materials, briefing documents, and follow-up materials
• Gather information from internal and external sources to support documentation projects
Administrative Support
• Provide scheduling, meeting coordination, and correspondence support to leadership
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, and action-item trackers
• Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely completion
• Maintain organized electronic records, files, and templates
• Assist with internal communications and special projects
• Coordinate information among teams to keep everyone aligned
Document & File Management
• Organize and maintain document management systems and digital folders
• Ensure documents are properly formatted, accessible, and searchable
• Support document archiving, retrieval, and version control
• Help establish consistent naming and filing practices across the organization
What We’re Looking For
• A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and formatting skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and document management systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
• Research and problem-solving skills
Experience with government contracting, proposal coordination, or document management is a bonus, but not required—we’ll provide full training on the job.
