We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and help build clear, organized documentation for our products and systems. You’ll work across different departments to transform complex information into guides, manuals, and training materials that people can actually understand and use.
About the Role:
As a Technical Writer, you will create and maintain a wide range of documentation, including installation manuals, operating procedures, maintenance guides, training materials, and troubleshooting resources. You’ll work with team members across different disciplines to gather information, understand how systems fit together, and turn that knowledge into clear written content.
Your day-to-day work will include:
• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation in multiple formats
• Incorporate diagrams, illustrations, and visual materials into your writing
• Start conversations with different teams to gather and organize important information
• Review technical content for accuracy, consistency, and clarity
• Develop instructional materials for internal teams and field service staff
• Update documentation as products and systems change
• Understand how documentation affects safety and user experience
Skills/background needed:
You don’t need all of these to apply—we’re happy to train the right person:
• Experience working with technical or hardware documentation, or a background in engineering, technical support, or a similar field
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation projects at once
• Experience with content management tools such as Notion or similar platforms
• Basic knowledge of design or illustration tools is helpful but not required
• Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or XML is a plus
• Experience with project management tools or version control systems is a bonus
