Technical Writer – Documentation & Systems, Full Time

Role: Technical Writer – Documentation & Systems

Contract length: Full Time, Permanent

Location: On-site position available

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application

We are looking for a Technical Writer to create, organize, and maintain clear documentation for complex technical systems. You will be the primary author of operation manuals, maintenance guides, troubleshooting materials, and training content. You’ll also manage our documentation library—keeping everything organized, version-controlled, and accessible to customers and internal teams.

This role offers hands-on experience in technical communication, working across engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and field support teams. You’ll learn industry-standard documentation practices, develop strong writing and organizational skills, and contribute directly to how customers understand and use our products safely and effectively.

What you’ll be doing:

• Author technical documentation covering operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field support
• Produce training materials, quick-start guides, runbooks, and instructor resources
• Create step-by-step procedures, safety notices, and visual aids (diagrams, illustrations, photos) to explain technical tasks clearly
• Organize and maintain the documentation library, including version control, indexing, archiving, and lifecycle management
• Publish and update documentation on customer portals and internal knowledge bases
• Develop and improve standardized templates, style guides, and documentation processes
• Work with engineers, technicians, and other teams to gather technical details and verify accuracy
• Support documentation changes related to engineering updates and release processes
• Use documentation tools and workflows to store, manage, and track documents
• Review documentation periodically for completeness, relevance, and correctness

Skills/background needed:

• Strong technical writing ability—comfortable explaining complex systems in clear, user-focused language
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work across teams and gather technical information from engineers and field experts
• User-focused mindset: you prioritize clarity, safety, and usability
• Willingness to improve processes and standardize documentation practices
• Experience with document management systems, version control, or similar tools (such as SharePoint, Confluence, or comparable platforms)
• Familiarity with graphics and diagramming tools
• Experience producing training materials and converting technical content into procedures and checklists
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with engineers, quality teams, manufacturing staff, and field personnel

What we’re looking for:

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. You don’t need to have worked in a specific industry—what matters is your ability to learn technical concepts, write clearly, and stay organized. If you have prior experience with technical writing, documentation management, or training materials, that’s valuable, but we’re happy to train the right person.

We offer full training on our tools, processes, and systems. You’ll work on-site in a collaborative environment where you’ll learn from experienced engineers and support teams.

Equal Opportunity: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
